The emphasis of the Automotive Engine Management Certificate of Achievement is on vehicle engine management systems, including their basic operation, function, service and maintenance. The systems include ignition, fuel, light mechanical, and emissions. Applicable courses are National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) compliant, meet the standards of National Coalition of Certification Centers, (NC3), and integrate Mopar College Automotive Program (CAP) Local levels 0 and 1 online coursework. Students and incumbent employees who complete the program will be prepared for entry-level positions at local automotive dealerships, independent repair facilities, national repair chains, fleets and parts suppliers. Students may also choose to continue their education and earn the Associate of Science Degree in Automotive Technology.
